Subject: iphone emailing photos via traveler: in-line, instead of attached
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Traveler
Technical Area: User Interface
Platform: iPhone
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: -Reproducibility-
For our users with iPhones (running IOS 7.1.), running traveler 8.5.3.200 (Build 201311152251): when they email a photo from their phone to another Lotus Notes email recipient (on a Windows computer), the photo displays in-line rather than as an attachment. This is a problem for the recipient who wants to have the photo as a separate JPG file.
If the sender has another email account (non-lotus) set up on the iPhone, and they send the email with photo from that email account, the Lotus Notes email recipients do receive the photo as an attachment that can then be saved.
For the recipient we DO have the Basic Notes Client Configuration property "Show in-line MIME images as attachments" selected. This allows emailed photos from iPhones using other email accounts to display as attachments. But the emailed photos from Traveler on the iPhone is in-line.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
